Rainbow Doesn’t Want to Play With Alfie Anymore… But Why 🐒

Once upon a time, in a beautiful green jungle, there lived a playful little monkey named Alfie. 🐒 Alfie loved jumping from tree to tree, swinging on vines, and playing with his best friend, Rainbow, a colorful and cheerful little bird. 🌈🐦

Every morning, Alfie and Rainbow met beside a sparkling river. They chased butterflies, played hide-and-seek, and laughed together until the sun began to set. They were the happiest friends in the jungle.

But one sunny morning, something strange happened.

Alfie rushed to their favorite meeting place, excited to play as usual. “Rainbow! Come on! Let’s play hide-and-seek!” he called happily.

Rainbow looked at him but quickly turned away.

“Sorry, Alfie. I don’t want to play today,” Rainbow said quietly.

Alfie blinked in surprise. “What? Why not? Are you feeling sick?”

“No,” Rainbow replied sadly. “I just want to be alone.”

Alfie felt confused and hurt. Had he done something wrong? Yesterday, they had laughed and played together all day. What could have changed overnight?

For the next few days, Rainbow continued avoiding Alfie. Whenever Alfie approached, Rainbow flew to another branch.

Finally, Alfie decided to ask his friend honestly.

“Rainbow, please tell me what happened. I miss playing with you. Did I hurt your feelings?” Alfie asked gently.

Rainbow lowered his colorful wings and sighed.

“Yesterday, when I told you my secret about being afraid of flying over the tall waterfall, you laughed at me. I thought you would understand, but you made me feel embarrassed.”

Alfie’s smile disappeared. Suddenly, he remembered the moment.

“Oh, Rainbow, I’m so sorry!” Alfie said. “I was only joking, but I didn’t realize I hurt your feelings.”

Rainbow looked at him carefully. “Friends shouldn’t make each other feel small.”

“You’re right,” Alfie replied. “I promise to listen and respect your feelings.”

Rainbow smiled softly. “Thank you, Alfie. I forgive you.”

And just like that, the two friends began rebuilding their friendship, one kind word and one happy adventure at a time. ❤️
